Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent tripping hazards. Clean up spills promptly, and return tools to their designated places after use.
Be mindful of others working in the workshop. Respect their space and be aware of potential hazards that may affect them.
Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, including the locations of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits.
Ensure proper ventilation when working with materials that produce fumes or dust. Use dust collection systems and wear respiratory protection when necessary.
Avoid engaging in horseplay or any behavior that could distract or endanger others. Focus on the task at hand to ensure a safe working environment.
Handle tools with care, keeping hands away from moving parts. Use push sticks or other safety devices when required.
Report any accidents, injuries, or near-misses to the workshop supervisor immediately. Prompt reporting helps prevent future incidents.
